Artichokes By Chef Tell - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. butter
    red onion, minced
    2 Tbsp. garlic
    1 tsp. tarragon
    1 tsp. basil
    fresh ground black pepper to taste
    1 c. chicken stock
    1/2 to 1 c. white wine
    artichokes
Preparation
    Saute butter, onion and garlic.
    Add spices, chicken stock and wine.
    Bring to a boil.
    Prepare artichokes by pulling off outside bottom leaves and trim the top straight.
    Cook 20 minutes on the top side.
    Then turn and cook for 40 minutes.
    Baste the artichokes frequently.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
