German Green Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon, diced
1 large onion, minced
1 Tbsp. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. white vinegar
2 cans (16 oz. each) cut green beans
Preparation

In large saucepan, fry bacon until almost done.
Add onion and fry until golden, about 5 minutes.
Add flour; blend in thoroughly.
Stir in sugar, vinegar and liquid from one can of beans.
Bring to boiling.
Discard liquid from remaining can of beans.
Add beans to pan; reduce heat and simmer until beans are heated through.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
