Never Fail Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients as for pie and cut in shortening.
    Add other ingredients and roll thinly.
    Cut.
    Bake on cookie sheet at 375\u00b0 until golden brown.
