Baked Coconut Custard - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. milk, scalded
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
In a bowl beat eggs just enough to blend evenly.
Stir in sugar and salt.
Slowly, beating with a fork, add the scaleded milk and vanilla.
Stir in coconut.
Pour into buttered custard cups.
Set cups in a shallow baking pan; pour 1 inch of water into the baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes or when a knife inserted in custard comes out clean.
Custard will be firm when it cools.
