Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 onions, chopped
    3 green peppers, chopped
    3 large cloves garlic, finely chopped
    1 to 2 lb. ground beef
    1 to 2 cans tomatoes
    2 to 8 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 can tomato paste
    salt and pepper
    paprika
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 tsp. basil
    pinch of cayenne pepper or hot chili sauce
    1 to 2 cans kidney beans
Preparation
    In half an inch of oil or bacon fat, saute onions, peppers and garlic until soft.
    In another pan, brown ground beef.
    Drain the fat from the beef and add the beef to the onion and pepper (or add the onion and pepper to the beef).
