Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. cornmeal
2 eggs
1 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Pour into 9-inch square pan. Bake at 425\u00b0 until golden brown.
