Rosettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. sugar or more
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 c. flour or more
Preparation
    Beat eggs slightly with sugar and salt.
    Add milk and flour and beat until smooth.
    Dip rosette iron into
    hot lard or Crisco, then in batter, covering 2/3 of iron.
    Return iron to lard, thoroughly covering batter for 20 to 35 seconds.
    Remove as much oil as possible, then drop rosettes onto paper.
