Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. celery, finely cut
    1 qt. canned tomatoes
    3 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 c. sliced mushrooms
    3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt
    pepper
    dash of hot sauce
    3 c. cooked shrimp
Preparation
    Saute
    onions,\tgreen pepper and
    celery
    in
    oil.
    Add tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms,\tWorcestershire\tsauce, bay leaves, hot sauce and sugar.
    Simmer slowly
    30 to 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Ten
    minutes
    prior to serving, add cooked, peeled shrimp.
    Serve over rice.
