Green Beans Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cans French-style green beans
    2 large onions, sliced thin
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    1 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 sticks margarine
    1 pkg. Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Cook beans slowly with no seasonings.
    Saute onions in margarine (1 stick) until soft.
    Add to beans, along with cheese and soup.
    Crumble crackers in remaining 1 stick of margarine until completely absorbed.
    Place bean mixture in greased pan and sprinkle cracker crumbs on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown.
