Mexican Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can enchilada sauce
    1/2 can water
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can chopped green chilies
    1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    8 tortillas, torn in pieces
Preparation
    Fry beef and onion until it loses its pink color.
    Add enchilada sauce, salt, pepper, water, soup and green chilies.
    In a 2-quart casserole layer tortillas and meat mixture and cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 until hot through.
