7-Minute Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cold water
    1/4 Tbsp. cream of tartar
    1 Tbsp. light corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine in top of double boiler.
    Cook over rapidly boiling water.
    Beat with a rotary beater or electric mixer until mixture stands in peaks.
    Remove from heat.
    Add vanilla; continue beating until thick enough to spread.
