Peanut Butter Crisscrosses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. peanut butter (crunchy)
    3 c. sifted plain flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream the shortening, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter.
    Sift dry ingredients; stir into creamed mixture.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Press crisscross pattern with floured fork.
    Bake for 10 minutes on top oven shelf at 350\u00b0.
