Three Day Crock Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    large size cucumbers
    3 qt. water
    3/4 c. pickling salt
    1 1/2 pt. vinegar
    dill
    garlic
    chilie pitins
Preparation
    Although any size cucumber may be used, it's a good way to use the large ones.
    Wash and make about 3 slits down the sides of each cucumber.
    Place in a large container, such as a crock or wide mouth gallon jars (no metal containers).
    Add some dill pieces, fresh garlic (sliced), and chilie pitins (as many as you like).
