Light Grits Spoon Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. skim milk
    1/3 c. uncooked grits
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Combine milk, grits and salt in a heavy saucepan.
    Cook 10
    to 12
    minutes
    on low heat, stirring constantly or until very thick.
    Beat
    egg yolks.
    Add a little hot grits to warm egg yolks.
    Add
    yolks\tto grits.
    Beat egg whites until they form stiff
    peaks.
    Fold
    into
    grits
    mixture.\tPut in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray.\tBake at 375\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly brown.\tServes 6.
