Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1/3 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. baking powder
    pinch of salt
    1/3 c. milk
    1 stick butter
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    sliced fresh peaches
Preparation
    Blend flour, Crisco, baking powder and salt with pastry blender until it resembles coarse meal.
    Add milk and stir.
    Roll out on floured surface in rectangle form.
    Melt 1 stick butter in a 13 x 9-inch dish; set aside.
    Boil sugar and water until melted.
    Place sliced fresh peaches on crust and roll as if jelly roll.
    Slice into 16 pieces and place in dish with melted butter. Pour water and sugar mixture over sliced pieces.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Use with any fresh fruit.
