Teriyaki Yakitori - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak (1 1/2-inches thick)
    1/3 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. grated ginger root or 1 tsp. ground ginger
    1/4 tsp. ground pepper
    2 cloves garlic, pressed
Preparation
    Prepare marinade by mixing all ingredients except steak.
    Trim meat, slice thinly and marinate 4 to 6 hours.
    Thread on skewers. Barbecue 12 to 15 minutes, turning frequently.
    Do not overcook.
