Antipasto Party Tray - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium yellow squash, cut into 1/4-inch slices
    1 large scraped carrot, cut in 1/4-inch slices
    1 large green pepper, seeds removed and cut into 1-inch pieces
    10 ripe olives
    10 cherry tomatoes
    10 small whole mushrooms
    10 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, cut in 1-inch cubes
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1/4 c. wine vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    dash of garlic powder
Preparation
    Combine olive oil, vinegar, water, Italian seasoning, black pepper and garlic in a glass jar.
    Cover tightly and shake well. Pour mixture over vegetables.
    Cover and marinate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
    Arrange alternately on a serving tray.
