Layered Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 bunches fresh spinach
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. boiled ham, cut into strips
    1 red Bermuda onion, thinly sliced
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed but not cooked
    1/2 c. Swiss cheese, cut into strips
    1/2 c. bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
    1 c. sour cream
    1 pt. real mayonnaise
Preparation
    In a large salad bowl (not too deep), put layer of spinach, onion, peas and ham.
    Cover with dressing.
    Repeat the layering, covering each with dressing.
