Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    1 lb. peanuts
    1 c. Karo syrup (white)
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cook sugar and syrup until it threads in heavy pan.
    Add 1 pound peanuts; cook until peanuts spread, stirring constantly. Add 1 teaspoon soda and stir until it reaches color you want. Pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
    Cool.
