Ham Junk - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. chipped chopped ham, sliced paper thin
3/4 c. catsup
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. vinegar
5 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 heaping Tbsp. dried minced onion
1/4 c. water
1/2 to 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed to taste
Preparation

Mix last 7 ingredients and bring to simmer 5 to 10 minutes. Add meat to sauce.
Try to separate meat into individual slices as much as possible.
Stir meat into sauce so sauce mixes well, covering all.
Simmer over low heat 10 to 15 minutes.
You can serve immediately on buns, but it is better to make a day ahead and reheat.
Yield:
6 to 10 sandwiches.
