Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. finely chopped, peeled apples
1/2 c. chopped walnuts *
1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Preparation

*Pecans may be used instead of walnuts.
