Chicken Tetrazzini - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. linguine, cooked
7 Tbsp. butter or margarine
salt and pepper
1/2 lb. mushrooms
4 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. chicken soup
1 egg yolk
1/2 c. heavy cream
1 Tbsp. Madeira
2 1/2 to 3 c. cooked chicken
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
2 Tbsp. bread crumbs
Preparation

Heat 3 tablespoons of butter and add the flour to make a cream sauce.
Add soup.
Add mushrooms which have been sauteed in 2 tablespoons of melted butter.
Return pan to heat.
Bring to boil, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes, until smooth and thick. Combine egg yolk and cream in small bowl.
Slowly stir into egg mixture 2 tablespoons of hot sauce.
Add to mushroom and sauce mixture.
