Walnut-Mushroom Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 small green onions, chopped
    2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. toasted walnuts, chopped
    salt to taste
    2 lb. fresh asparagus, cooked or 2 (1 lb.) cans, drained or 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen
Preparation
    Saute onions and mushrooms in butter until tender, but not brown.
    Add walnuts and salt to taste.
    Spoon over hot cooked asparagus spears that have been well drained.
    Yields 8 servings.
