Fruitcake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1/2 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1/4 c. milk
    1 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. ground allspice
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 (16 oz.) container fruit cake mix (candied fruit)
    2 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar; cream well.
    Add eggs, milk, flour, soda and spices; mix well.
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 300\u00b0
    for 15 to 20 minutes or until dry.
    Yields 4 dozen.
