Chile-Noodle Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. medium noodles, cooked and drained
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    2 c. sour cream
    1 c. cream-style cottage cheese
    1 c. chopped, prepared green chile
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute
    onion
    in
    margarine
    until tender.
    Remove from heat and
    stir
    in
    sour cream, cottage cheese, chile, grated cheese (save
    1/2
    cup),
    salt and garlic powder.
    Stir until well blended.
    Lightly toss noodles into mixture until noodles are well coated.
    Pour into greased casserole dish and bake at 350\u00b0
    for 30
    minutes.
    Add
    remaining
    cheese to top.
    Cook, covered,
    for moist top, uncovered for crisp top.
    Serves 6 to 8.
