Sweet Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium sized sweet onions
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese, divided
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
    6 (1/2-inch thick) French bread slices
    1/3 c. chopped fresh parsley
Preparation
    Cut onions into 1/4-inch thick slices. Cut slices in half. Melt butter in a large skillet; add onion and saute until tender. Put onion in lightly greased 2-quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle with 1 cup of cheese.
