Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

6 medium potatoes
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1/3 c. butter
Preparation

Cook in boiling salt water until tender; drain.
Remove skins. Make a syrup by bringing to a boil water, butter, and sugar. Pour over potatoes. Bake for 20 minutes in 400\u00b0 oven.
