Pepper Relish - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 green peppers
12 red peppers
8 carrots
5 onions
1 cabbage
1 c. salt
6 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 qt. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Grind all vegetables together. Mix with 1 cup salt and let stand for 1 hour. Strain out as much juice as possible. Mix remaining ingredients.
Do not cook. Just mix with vegetables; put in jars and seal. Mine made 9 pints.
