Soda Cracker Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 egg whites
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/3 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 c. crushed soda crackers (unsalted)
    1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Preparation
    Add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat until stiff.
    Add vanilla and sugar.
    Fold in crackers and nuts.
    Place in a greased cake pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
    Cool.
    Top with whipped topping (Dream Whip) and add fruit topping (use your imagination).
    Refrigerate.
