Italian Style Steak Sandwich - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium onions, sliced
butter or margarine
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
2 Tbsp. sugar
chip steaks, frozen (amount to individual liking)
Preparation

Brown onions in butter or margarine until golden brown; remove from pan.
Cut chip steak in small pieces and brown in same pan. Remove steak and place with onions.
Add 1/2 cup water to pan drippings to make broth.
Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings.
Stir; bring to boil.
Stir in onions and steak. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes until thickened. Top sandwiches with cheese and place in warm oven until cheese is melted.
Makes 2 large sandwiches or subs.
