Scalloped Potatoes(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    4 medium potatoes, peeled
Preparation
    In 2-quart casserole combine butter and onion.
    Microwave at High for 1 to 2 minutes or until butter melts.
    Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
    Blend in milk.
    Microwave at High 5 to 7 minutes, or until thickened, stirring after first 2 minutes and then after every minute.
    Cut potatoes in half lengthwise, then crosswise into 1/4-inch slices.
    Add to thickened sauce.
    Cover.
    Microwave at High for 10 to 15 minutes, or until potatoes are fork-tender, stirring every 5 minutes.
    Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
