Almond Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. water
    2 envelopes dry chicken noodle soup
    1 c. rice
    1 lb. sausage
    1 1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 onion, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    2/3 c. almonds
Preparation
    Bring
    water
    and
    soup
    to
    boil.
    Add rice and reduce heat. Simmer
    for 25 minutes until water is absorbed.
    Remove from heat. Fry sausage until brown.
    Remove from pan and pour off as much fat as possible.
    Add celery, onions and pepper to a
    little fat and brown gently.
    Add rice, sausage and 1/2 cup almonds together;
    mix
    well in a 2-quart dish.
    Garnish with rest of almonds on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
