Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. boneless round steak
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. Burgundy or other wine
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 c. water
    1 large onion, sliced
    3 c. hot cooked rice
    2 green peppers, sliced
    2 tomatoes, sliced (optional)
Preparation
    Sprinkle steak with paprika.
    Using high heat, brown meat in butter on all sides.
    Reduce heat.
    Add wine, soy sauce and seasonings.
    Cover and simmer for 25 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch and water; stir into meat.
    Arrange onion, green peppers and tomatoes over steak.
    Cover and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes more. Serve over beds of hot rice.
    (I usually make extra sauce for serving with rice.)
