Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. salad oil
    5 medium onions, sliced
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 lb. ground chuck or round
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    In skillet (over medium heat) place salad oil; add onions and cook 2 minutes.
    Add 1 1/2 cup water, soy sauce and sugar.
    Bring to boil.
    Cook over medium heat 10 minutes.
    Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup cold water and slowly stir into onions until sauce thickens.
    Set aside and keep warm.
