Wild Strawberry Sun Preserves(Modern) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. wild strawberries
2 c. sugar
1 c. water

Preparation

Gather the leaves when plants are in bloom, leaving stems intact.
Tie stems in bundles and hang leaves in dry ventilated area.
Leaves must be thoroughly dry.
Then crumble (like green tea).
Store in sealed container in a dry, dark place.
