Red Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 small pkg. red Jell-O
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 small carton cottage cheese
    1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Combine pineapple, Jell-O and sugar in saucepan and let boil 2 minutes; let cool.
    Add cottage cheese and Cool Whip.
    Put in refrigerator to cool and serve.
