Turtle Sundae Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (18 1/4 oz.) pkg. German chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    vanilla ice cream and pecan halves
Preparation
    Mix cake according to package directions. Set aside half of the batter. Pour remaining batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 minutes.
