Wilted Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
1/4 c. vinegar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
2 Tbsp. sugar or sugar substitute
8 c. lettuce, torn in bite size pieces
1/2 medium onion, thinly sliced
Preparation

Fry bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble.
To bacon drippings, add
vinegar, salt, pepper and sugar.
Heat to boiling.
Pour over lettuce and onion.
Toss lightly and serve immediately.
Makes 8 servings.
