Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. Karo syrup
3 or 4 egg whites
vanilla
chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Put sugar, water and Karo syrup in saucepan and stir only until sugar dissolves.
Let cook until threads.
Put egg whites in mixing bowl and beat until stiff.
Slowly pour sugar mixture into mixing bowl with egg whites; add vanilla (you may add chopped nuts).
Beat until stiff and it will lose its shine.
Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper.
