Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. butter
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    7 eggs
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add vanilla or lemon extract.
    Combine creamed mixture with flour, beating well.
    Pour into well-greased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool in pan 15 minutes.
