Porcupine Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. ground beef
3 c. raw rice
1 large bell pepper
1 large onion
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 c. ketchup
1 (8 oz.) bottle Thousand Island dressing
2 (18 oz.) bottles Hunt's Thick and Rich barbecue sauce
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together, except 1 bottle of sauce.
Make into balls, using about 2/3 cup of mixture to make each ball.
Put meat balls in baking pan.
Pour the other bottle of barbecue sauce over meat balls.
Cover with foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Uncover and bake for about 15 or 20 minutes longer.
Can be frozen to be used later.
