Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers (approximately 4 to 5 medium size)
    1 c. sliced onion
    1 green pepper, finely sliced
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine cucumbers, onion and green pepper in large bowl.
    Add sugar, vinegar, salt and celery seed; mix well.
    Cover and store in refrigerator 24 hours before serving.
    Pickles will last for several weeks.
    Makes 12 servings.
    May try different spices, garlic, dill, oregano or hot sauce to add a creative flavor.
