Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. Domino sugar
    2/3 c. whole milk (if using 2%, add 1 Tbsp. butter)
    1 c. marshmallow cream or 1 1/2 c. small marshmallows
    2/3 c. creamy peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla extract (optional)
Preparation
    In a heavy kettle, bring sugar and milk to a boil after mixing well.
    Let boil to soft ball stage (about 5 minutes).
    Do not stir.
    Remove from heat; add marshmallow and creamy peanut butter.
    Can add vanilla (optional).
    Mix well and pour into a buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
