Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. sliced squash
    2 c. onions, sliced thin
    2 large peppers
    1 large jar pimento
    1/4 c. salt
    1 glass water
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix squash, onions, peppers, pimento, salt and water together. Mix and pack ice over mixture.
    Let set for 1 1/2 hours; drain. Bring the sugar, vinegar, celery seed and mustard seed to a boil. Add to squash mixture and let come to a boil.
    Place in jars and seal.
    Great with vegetables.
