Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cocoa
1 Tbsp. vanilla
6 c. quick cook oats
2 c. coconut
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Put the first 6 ingredients in a large pan and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat. Add the remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper and let cool.
Makes about 100 cookies.
