Pierogi Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12-15 cooked lasagna noodles
    4 cups mashed potatoes
    1/2 cup grated longhorn cheese
    3 medium onions, chopped
    1 1/2 sticks butter or margarine
    1/4 cup grated longhorn cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions and butter in sauce pan until just tender.
    Do not brown them.
    Cook noodles as directed on package.
    Cook potatoes, mash and mix with cheese while potatoes are warm.
    Pour enough onion mixture to cover the bottom of a 9x13 in pan.
    Put layer of noodles.
    Spread layer of potato and cheese over noodles. Drizzle onion and butter over potatoes.
    Repeat process until you have 4 or 5 layers.
    Top layer should be potato and cheese. Drizzle with remaining onions and top with 1/4 cup longhorn cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
