Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dark corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 whole eggs
    1 1/2 c. pecans
    1 unbaked pie shell (9 or 10-inch pan)
Preparation
    Allow butter to come to room temperature.
    Add to butter, sugar, salt and vanilla; beat well until blended.
    Fold in pecans.
