Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. chopped nuts (I use pecans)
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, beating well.
Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
Add to mixture along with bananas, blending well.
Stir in nuts. Pour into 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan that is greased well.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until done.
