French Buttercream Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. softened butter
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    In large bowl, combine ingredients.
    Chill dough for 30 minutes.
    Shape
    into 3/4-inch balls.
    Place, 2 inches apart, on cookie sheet; flatten with fork.
    Sprinkle with sugar.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 5 to 8 minutes.
    Don't let get brown.
