Springtime Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large box strawberry jello
    20 oz. box crushed pineapple, undrained
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    9 oz. carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    In a saucepan, heat the pineapple and jello until jello is dissolved, but do not boil.
    Let mixture cool, then mix in buttermilk and pecans. Fold in whipped topping and pour into a large bowl. Chill until firm.
